In a highly competitive betting market, BetBoom aimed to go beyond standard promotional banners and text notifications. The team wanted to:

  • Create an interactive experience that engages users daily with content tied to sports and e-sports events.
  • Encourage participation through polls, quizzes, and emoji reactions tied to real matches and giveaways.
  • Simplify campaign participation approval, ensuring users could opt-in easily and securely.

Solution: Stories as a Dynamic Engagement Engine

BetBoom integrated Storyly Stories across its app and web experience, using interactive stickers to connect sports and e-sports content, engagement, and rewards.

  • Gamified Stories for Campaigns: BetBoom runs themed contests and giveaways (e.g., football matches, esports tournaments) where users interact through polls, quizzes, and emoji reactions to unlock participation.
  • Creative consent mechanism: For campaigns requiring explicit user approval, BetBoom used the Emoji Reaction sticker — allowing users to “react” to give open consent to join. These reactions are exported as user IDs through Storyly reports, simplifying compliance while keeping engagement fun and frictionless.
  • Tap & Go navigation: BetBoom also uses custom CTA Stories built with Storyly to guide users directly to tournament pages or new sections within the app, making navigation instant and intuitive.
  • Multi-platform presence: Storyly is embedded in both BetBoom’s mobile app and web app, creating a unified experience across devices.
