París App Triples Impressions and Clicks with Storyly Stories

Latin American retail giant París has been a beloved department store for over 100 years, and recently premiered their app in 2020. A subsidiary of Cencosud, París offers a wide variety of home goods, clothing, and electronics, and is one of the largest retailer in Chile. 

Challenge #1: Limitations of In-App Space

Like many retail apps, París found the limitations of in-app space to be a challenge when trying to highlight promotional offers, new brands, and special deals. With so many brands and products to share with their audience, and knowing that most users are reluctant to scroll, the marketing team at París was looking for a way to showcase more of their best deals in less space.

París’ users love stories. Stories are full-screen, interactive, and mobile-native, making them the perfect format for digital content delivery. While the format is familiar from social media channels, the content is fresh and inviting, keeping shoppers coming back for more.

The Results

Since implementing Storyly Stories, París has seen a 200% increase in clicks and impressions, nearly quadrupled their reach, and boosted their audience of active users by 45%! Click-through rates are rising as well, with an average CTR of 23.5% which represents a 10% increase from the previous month, plus a record high of 60% CTR. Cencosud is so pleased with the results of the Storyly integration, they hope to incorporate Stories into the digital strategy for their other brands as well.
